The Story of Southwick Primary School

Final Reunion Day    Saturday 10 January 2009

Hundreds of people came along to our school between 10.00am & 3.00pm. They were able to see dozens of photographs & meet friends from the past. They also helped us to put names and dates to some of the photographs.

The previous Reunion Day, which was on Saturday 26 April 2008, was held in school as part of our centenary celebrations. The event was a great success with around 300 people coming into school to view photographs of the area and of classes old and new. It provided visitors with the opportunity to tour the school, have photographs taken with friends and share memories with each other and our school's history group.

On the following Thursday there were visits by Mrs Mary Donaldson and Mr William Storey who visited school to talk about their lives and memories. Mrs Donaldson, who at 106 years was our oldest ex-pupil, was accompanied by her daughter and son-in-law.

Many past pupils & teachers have left messages on Guestbook.
